Swarm, swarm!

Mindy McAdams really shook the hive with her post about the NPPA Summit in Tampa (UPDATE #1: I should clarify that her post doesn’t have any ill-will. Mindy was just reporting what she learned and everyone’s buzzing about it). (I’m still kicking myself for not going.) Lots of photographers are buzzing about HD video being used to replace still cameras, multimedia, alarmist fears, etc., etc., etc.

Check out her excellent notes from the conference and definitely read the comments:

  1. “Shook the hive” is a great phrase, Will! But they’re not mad at me … I haven’t been stung yet, anyway! (Thanks for the blog love.)

  2. Imagine what her classes are like!

Better yet, imagine moving her recent discussion into the classroom.

Pull down the movie screen in the front of the classroom and project a live video-teleconference with multiple sources in the industry from around the country joining in the live discussion.
