The Star Tribune sale, again news
Former Strib staffer, Steve Yelvington’s thoughts on the sale notes: “There’s one other thing that’s different this time around. In 1998, the Powers that Be tried (without success) to control the story and release it for print-first publication. In 2006, the story was broken first on the Web.”

Is this good news? Part of me says no. I’m kind of baffled why the sale happened, the Strib is a rockin’ paper and website (although, I have no clue about the profitability.) Is this a union thing?
