Nerd paradise, Slashdot, is launching a CSS redesign contest.

This is pretty interesting timing, right after the BBC launched their redesign ‘reboot.’ For the Slashdot design, the winner will get a hardcore laptop (Which is pretty much the same prize you get for the BBC contest).

What’s really interesting, is comparing user comments on Slashdot to those on the BBC. At Slashdot, most of the commenters seem pretty stoked. At the BBC, comments are all screaming about how cheap the organization is, how they’re exploiting the users, etc. etc. etc.
